The Gettysburg
Police Department has a time honored tradition of
protecting and serving our community of over 7,500

officers, 3 part-time officers, 3 parking enforcement
officers and 2 administrative officers are second to
none. While our department is small our experience is
wide spread with officers who speak fluent German and
Spanish to those who have lived in the Caribbean,
Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
If you need to talk
to or see an officer dial 911 for emergencies or
717-334-8101 for non-emergencies. For
administrative calls dial 717-334-1168 from 8:00 am to
5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
